Hung-up Long Island high school principal sends home three female students who attended the school's "Superhero Day" costumed as Captain Underpants.

Note that the students were fully clothed, and then some, in flesh-colored body stockings—and the effect, as you can see in the photo, is anything but erotic. And, as a commenter at The Beat noted, how can you have a Superhero Day and then ban wearing underpants on the outside?

UPDATE: Shame on me for forgetting this initially, but: It's worth noting that the titular hero of the Captain Underpants books is, in fact, a hypnotized school principal. Perhaps Mr. Restivo is right to be worried...
