Is it just me, or is Mozilla's latest much-hyped iteration of Firefox a crashy piece of shit? Previous versions were rock-solid for me, even when I had dozens of tabs open, but 3.0—man, I've had it puke out on me literally five times in as many minutes. Which is a bastard, given that I'm shaving deadlines on a number of research-based projects, and every second counts.
I should've known something was screwy when the Foundation made such a big fuss over wanting to set a record for most downloads in a single day—then ended up with millions of people unable to connect because their servers were borked. Rushing bad product to market for a cheap publicity grab? Way to keep your evangelical fanbase, guys.
Or, really, is it just me?
